Default Not so happy with results

I installed 3.73's in my car from 2.73's, ran ET Streets on the car instead of the stock GSC's, and was expecting to hitt 12's. My old best before gears/tires was a 13.28@105.9 on a 2.1 60'. With gears/tires i made 3 passes.
13.8@105.6
13.39@105.7
13.29@105.8

Needless to say im a little unhappy with the results

What were your reaction times before and after? My best guess w/o seeing a timeslip would be that your takeoffs were worse after the mods.

one problem is i couldnt stall the car past 1500, the brakes wouldnt hold. The car is tuned, but it was short shifting first a little bit. Maybe need to adjust the shift points a bit. A converter seems to be a must now.. the car has it up high but needs more help getting there. Get its big butt movin

this is the second thread i've looked at in 2 seconds where you've said this and it is not correct. are you confusing r/t with sixty foot?

What size were the ET streets? You are giving back gear if they are taller than your stockers.

How wide are they? I think they are costing you more up top than they are helping you down low. A nitto or comparible DR is all that you need at your power level. Anything more is overkill and will slow you down.

Just my 2cents

the weather was about 80* with very high humidity! The car short shifted with the et streets for some reason, and the car just wouldnt stall. we get the brake thing fixed and a stall the thing will fly.
id say converter and a nice set of drag radials and 12.5's for sure!!!

Sounds like your shift points need to be redone. Find someshop with LS1 edit or Hp tuning and this should make a big difference.
