Stock 2000 WS6 Went to the strip (1/8) to see were I'm at, no mods at all have been done. The wheel hop is awful in first second and third. What should be my first mods? Times were: 9.6 @ 80 mph, 2.5 60 ft. I have a Saleen to race soon. All I have to do is run 8.5 to be able to beat this car.
You should deffinately get a lot of practice. Unless you are running at 5000' the car should run in the 8.8 range without a sweat. Once you have the car under control, invest in a Lid and perhaps a cutout. If you're having trouble with your 60' time, invest in a set of drag radials and Lower Control Arms as DD966 suggested. Practice is your number one priority.

Thanks, I'm going to place an order tonight for a set of Lakewood control arms, SLP subframe connectors, SLP Lid and a K&N. I'll do some searches to find out which LT's and exhaust system is preferred.
