New Best at Irwindale Speedway
I was able to pull a new best 1/8 ET and MPH last night of 7.821@89.05 with a 1.712 60'. The DA last night was 1200'. My previous best was 7.838@88.45 with a 1.672 60'. The DA then was 600'.
The track didn't seem to want to hook for me last night. I'm sure with a 1.6x 60' time, better air, or both i could have broken 7.7's or maybe even squeek into a 7.6x.

I am very pleased with how consistant the car was last night. Normally I start the night running 8.5's and work my way down to 7.9's. Last night the car started out with a 7.90 followed by five 7.8x runs.
I wish I could wait till winter time for some better air and see what the car runs stock internal, but i've got a 231/237 sitting on the desk screaming to be installed next weekend.
It looks like the weight reduction was deffinately worth it. The car picked up a half mph over the previous best with an additional 600' DA. Access to the passenger side of the motor is DEFFINATELY worth pulling the HVAC.
Thanks very much again to Ninefinger for helping pull apart the car, and thanks again madmark for coming out last night.
