And I got it on video!
I'll have to get someone to convert it into a mpeg file for me cause I don't know how to do that, but as soon as I get that done I'll post it up for all to see.
It's awesome!

Congrats Allan on first place and congrats to Tim for getting the runner up spot with just a lil' ole LT1. Good race guys!
Mike Hoffpauir won the SS/A class, with Trevor Doelling taking the runner up position.
Mikes time was 11.29 @ 118.28 mph, to Trevors 11.41 @ 116.85 mph. I'm not sure, but I think Trevor treed Mike which made the race very close at the finish line.
IMO, this race turned out to be the best heads up race of the day.
Congrats Mike on the win, and you too Trevor for taking the runner up spot!
GREAT RACE guys!
And if I remember correctly I think Tony W. even took home a trophy for runner up spot in the brackets. Good job Tony!
I got all kinds of video footage, Monday I'm gunna give the tapes to JSears and have him pick out the best ones to add to his videos he shot today and I think he's going to combine them all on to one tape, maybe Justin will chime in here and tell what hes going to do.
Also I'm going to get Justin to get Larry Cato's (Pain) footage of his wheelstand and convert it into a mpeg file for me so I can post it up asap, because I know you guys just can't wait to see it!

Mike Hoffpauir won street stock automatic, with an awesome race between he and Trevor in the finals.
I think Harlan won the modified stock power adder
Judsen won pro stock
9ball was first runner up in the brackets
**** I can't remember everything, it has been long two days, but others can fill in or correct me if I am wrong.
The event was well organized and well run, the anouncer lept things rolling and very entertaining. There was a very large crown, I would guess about 200 people in the stands and along the fence and about another 100 or so in the pits.
I can tell everyone that even though we have been ragging Joe Kizzire, he did a hell of a job today and Angie and Geoff put on a great Shootout! I know a lot of people voluntered to help and they put in a long day today, they all deserve a lot of praise for a job well done.
Alan Futral won the modified stock manual, against a valiant effort in the finals from an under powered LT1 (95Formula) that was bumping 10's all day but couldn't break the 11.doht's

congrats to all the racers and to the eventual class winners. If you missed this race you missed something good. Great job thunder.

Angie and Geoff Skinner deserve a big hand for putting on this race which turned out awesome.
Joe Kizzire deserves a hand also for making everything run smooth.
For those that were running, I saw each one of ya'll at least 5 times yesterday. I was the one pulling ya'll to the starting line. Sorry I didn't get much of a chance to meet many. I did get to meet several new faces including Vince from Florida. If he would have smarted off one more time to me Friday nite, I woulda reached up and punched him square in the kneecap. That is one BIG dude.
