First time out with 231/237 cam
12.39 @ 113.44 (1.81 60')
The air temp was between 80-85 degrees, and the track temp was probably about 10 degrees higher... seemed cars were running a little slow that afternoon.
It was also my first time racing on ET Streets (always used Nittos before) and man, there's a huge difference in those. I ran them at 17 psi, and they stuck like glue. At first I launched at 4k rpms, and it bogged... I then tried around 4.5k (maybe a little less) and still bogged a little off the line. I really don't think my clutch (still running the stocker) is up to the task anymore... gonna need to step up to a better clutch so I can go with the 5k+ clutch dumps.
I also had my shift light programmed for 6300 rpms, which I have a feeling made me shift too low for this cam (probably around 6500-6600 rpms)... I went ahead and bumped it up to come on at 6500 rpms, so hopefully I'll be shifting around 6700-6800 (rev limiter set at 6900), which I think is much more optimum for this cam.
Next time I go racing will be at a track with better prep and will also be cooler since the first test & tunes will be early in the morning (around 9-9:30am), so I'm hoping for better times... I'd like to pick up about 4 tenths and I'll be happy.

I know with a new clutch (and driveshaft) I'll be solidly in the 11s...
