Default How did old man Joe run?

I haven't read how his 7800rpm monster ran at the shootout. 13.5@105?

I need a new number to shoot for, what is it? With the hardware he has on that car I'd expect 10.3x or so?

seems like Home Fries is trying to start something, funny coming from a guy who has to lie about the motor in his car.

No lies here, I used to have a stock 346/heads/cam (in race trim, 3220#) that ran 6.84/99 1/8th (10.87@127 1/4), and now I have a 396 (in full street trim with less stall) running 6.72@101 1/8th (no 1/4 times yet).

You're on the money about me trying to start **** though.

PS. Did JS or any Cartek cars come to the shootout?!?

Nice how about some details? I wanted to come to the shootout myself but I'm moving in to a new house and money/time is really tight. My new place is 1620 sq/ft vs. 1220 sq/ft in the current place, and has RV parking for the trailer! (both lots are ~8000sq/ft).

Next event for sure.

What you probably don't know is that the motor was in Derek Real's car for almost a month. They sorted out all the motor problems with the motor in Derek's car, pulled the motor and crated it to ship back to TTR, and then I came along and bought it. It runs great for me, and its going to run even better next week when I get the new cam in.

PS. I run 91 octane on the street and 93 octane at the track with this motor. It pings a little on the 91 but its not that bad, on 93 no pinging at all!

Actually, I think they overcharged you on purpose, so you might change your mind and move out of state.

Before Tim I just figured you were a bitter guy, but thanks to the TR shootout I finally understand your motivation. You're a bitter short guy!

Listen my girlfriend has the same problem (she's 5'4), and bought these shoes that make her look a lot taller. Maybe you should try some? They might cheer you up a bit. On the plus side I bet you're pretty light, better ET's!
