TC and Trans Brake for racing???

TC and Trans Brake for racing??? Ok, would I still need a high stall if I plan on using a trans brake, or could use a smaller 3000-3500 stall? Not sure on this one. I have a Yank 3k stall now, and I am looking at going with a transbrake A4 or A3.

Never hurts to try. It will just leave the line stalling at 3500 and will flash just a touch depending on the converter. The more stall you have the more revs you can make at the line obviously.
You will load up the TC, because 1st and reverse are engaged (yet lock against each other, so you won't be going anywhere). The heat (from the converter being stalled up) will build up very quickly, so it is recommened to be used only when you are staged and ready to launch (when both cars are staged). The transbrake allows you to stall up to whatever rpm you want, so long as it is under the stall speed of the converter. 
Test it out, if you need more stall ... replace it with a higher rated converter.

well you'd need a two step to pick your rpm launch under the size of the 'verter using the transbrake.
TB allows you to leave the line with your foot to the floor, no footbrake.
a properly set up car will sixty foot very similar if not the same on footbrake and transbrake..transbrake in most people's opinion is really for consitency more than anything.
