27" Drag Slicks?
I want to step up to a set of 15" rear wheels and 'real' drag slicks, but don't see many choices for a 27" tall slick.
MT ET Drags come in a 28x9 that is supposed to be like 27.3 inches tall, but will a 9" wide tire suck compared to a 10" wide one?
Also, should I just break down and get 28x10's and will they fit on a lowered Z28?
I want to launch off the limiter with about 400+rwhp if possible (and not spin). <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I run a 9 inch slick on the Hot Rod and it works great. Now these bad boys are 30x9x15's <img border="0" alt="[devil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />
I did run some M/T 28x10.5x15 and had to do some clearancing on the fender well so they would not rub. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />
Good luck. <img border="0" alt="[angel]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_angel.gif" />

You will hook on the 28x9x15's <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
That is the tire I am going with with Convo Pro 15x7.5 rims. That with 4.56 gears is perfectly matched to my setup.
