What do 108 traps show HP wise?
Last night I couldn't beat 13.2 @ 108 which pisses me off. My 60's are killing me. I couldn't get anything better than a 2.2 so it's obvious I need drag radials and some suspension work. But what estimated hp would 108 traps show?
By the way, I have an A4.

Don't know about the hp thing, but get your 60's down to low to mid 1.9's, and you'll be 12'8's all day long at 108 mph. Raceweight 3600, or less, that is.... Nitto's, decent lca's,& a rt. side airbag @ 10-13psi should get you there.... Good luck. WJ. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I had similar runs at Silver Dollar back at the GFBA meet. 2.227 60' 13.395 @ 107.81 and then a 2.373 60' 13.545 @108.80. The car was really moving on the last run. My race weight is somehwere around 3580 with me in the car. Mine is a 6-speed. I have no dyno numbers so I guess my car is making similar horsepower. But I do have stock manifolds and Y-pipe, just a lid and a P&P stock MAF.

I was running 12.70's @ 110 with my M6 that dynoed 330 RWHP and 340 RWTQ. So 108 is probably slightly less than that. Those runs were on nittos with ~1.9x 60' times. IMO there is no need for an airbag before the 60's drop into the 1.5-1.6 range. You just dont get that much flex launching pulling 1.8-1.9 60's.

here's a formula that comes decently close to a dyno figure:
(MPH/234) to the 3rd power
then multiply the result by your race weight (with driver)
My Nova's best 107.13 mph at 3450 raceweight is 336 rear-wheel hp.

Re: What do 108 traps show HP wise?
Ok so here's another question. How much does a Z/28 weigh w/ all options but traction control. And I weigh around 180 so I'm guessing car and driver goes in at about 3650 or so? Or is this off?
