Need estimate on et with this combo
382 stroker with stage 2 heads and b1 cam built by MTI
stock rear 323 gears ( i know i know)
full weight
495 hp/517 ft lbs torque
What do you think I would hit with Drag radials and then on ET streets?
Don't have a rear end yet..
Any ideas??
Granted the B1 cam is a little small for the stroker but an R1 cam will go in in the future.
This car was built by MTI, left there for a month in fact I'm sure that they can attest to the power that it made.
I don't own this car yet, I'm planning on buying it reaaaaaaaaaaaaal soon. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
Then I can get rid of my stupid screen name. <img border="0" alt="[jester]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_jest.gif" />
And to be honest I have no idea what you would run. However, with full weight and those numbers (HP/gearing/stall/etc.), I GUESS you would hit mid/lower-11's
the reason the owner went with the mild cam is for reliability. I talked with a drag racer guy that has a heads/cam WS6 that puts down 402 to the ground and he said the car pulls harder all the way throughout the rpm range.
The owner wanted big torque since primarily he drives it at lower rpms. O yea that drag racer guy honestly felt the car put down 425-440 to the wheels. This is with a restrictive SS exhaust and cats. I believe there is another 50 hp in this motor with a different cam, freer flowing exhaust and tuning.
The car is a sleeper, meaning you can't tell by looking at it what it has under the hood. Looks stock, I kinda like that! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
