2 step question

Re: 2 step question
Simply allows you to insert another revlimiter tied to the clutch pedal. Simply cuts off the ignition firing to maintain a specified RPM. Definitely helps with consistency in launches for M6 cars. Some would argue with that, but generally that's one aspect. For the boosted cars it simply allows them to quickly build boost and maintain it without bashing the revlimiter.
Definitely a nice piece of work! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: 2 step question
Also works in conjunction with a tranny brake with an automatic. You set the two-step at the rpm you want the converter to stall to (as high as the true stall of the converter.)

I'm assuming it wouldn't work with an auto with no trans brake, that you need some sort of switch (clutch or trans brake) to activate this. Any thoughts on this?

Re: 2 step question
You could get it to work with an automatic without transbrake, but I think it wouldn't be worth it. You would still have to foot brake, so you couldn't set the 2 step higher then your brakes can hold the rear wheels.
I should also say, you would just have to wire it into some sort of switch just like you would a line lock.

Re: 2 step question
You can wire in the switch without the footbrake and treat it like a transbrake. Regardless if it's an M6 or an A4. But you need to have it set where your footbrake still holds as mentioned above.
