How important are rear shocks?

How important are rear shocks? I have a set of front Hal shocks coming my way, and I already have rear Bilstein shocks installed. I also have G2 springs. Would there be any improvement in consistency or weight between the rear Hals and the Bilsteins? Thanks in advance.
