Default Taking off front support......is it safe???

I know that it is more dangerous from an accident standpoint, but will removing the front bumper support and the metal cross brace have any affect on the front chassis stiffness?

I am thinking things might start twisting which would make body panels move a little....

I have seen two cars at the local shop with a ruined front bumper cover because of the lack of support. Should make a lightweight bracket for the cover.

I'm lucky, my motor holds my front end together pretty good (j/k). The only problem I had was the lower cover wanting to hang down, but was an easy fix.

Can anyone describe where all of the bolts are for the front bumper cover? i havent jumped into it yet but I wanted to start with a basic idea.

Thanks!

It's pretty simple and straight forward. Go under the car and get all the bolts that hold the plastic shielding to the bumper cover, also while your under there pull the 3 push clips that attach the bumper cover to the bottom of the impact bar. Pull the top push clips that are visible when you open the hood, pull the headlights (have to undo the brackets), there are a total of 3 nuts and 1 bolt per side that attach the bumper cover to the fenders. The 3 nuts are along the bottom of the fender where the cover meets the fender and the bolt is right in the front. I don't explain things well but it really is simpler than it seems. I think everything was 10mm if I remember correcly.
