IHRA drag racing info inside :-)
Hi Tom,
This is Larry the Tech Director at Keystone "Now Pittsburgh Raceway Park" As long as you carry all the requirements that is mandatory in the NHRA you will be just fine racing at our IHRA track. The only reason you would need IHRA credentials be it license or otherwise is if you were in the IHRA point series. To simply visit to race is not a problem. Actually you do not need a chassis cert until 9.00 or quicker in the IHRA. But cage is mandatory at 9.99 or quicker. And the 9.99 and quicker license from NHRA is fine. If you ever wish to have an IHRA license from what im told you may still Fax a copy of your NHRA license to the IHRA office and they will issue a license to you but i forget the cost at this time. But its not mandatory for a visiting racer to participate on occasion. Take care and hope to see you this upcoming season we here are excited about our future here at Pittsburgh Raceway Park. Larry
