Default Roll Bar or Cage

Who has a roll bar or cage in their Trans am LS1? I am thinking of getting one. What do you recommend?

i have a wolf 8 point. had it jig notched so we just welded it right in, was a real nice piece.

I have a daily driver. How is it getting in and out of the car?

Hey James, how fast do you plan to go? A (5-point NHRA legal) roll bar is better suited for daily driver who do not plan on going quicker than 10.00. If you plan to go faster than 9.90, you'll need a 10-point roll cage ... alot of butchering to the interior. Either one is going to be a pain to get in and out of, you'll have the safety cross bar running from the middle of your upper arm to the floor under the dash.

I plan on getting into the high 10's - low 11's. Doesn't the roll bars also go accross the lower part of the drivers door like the cages do? Roll bars would be fine if I can be convinced that I can get in and out of the car without doing a Dukes of Hazard leap into the car everytime I get in or out of it.
