Torque Arm Gains
For anyone how goes to the track a lot and has installed a torque arm, did you notice how much your 60' dropped with no other mods but the torque arm?
I have a 2000 SS with bolt ons and a 3500 stall converter cutting a best of 1.78 60' and 12.43 ET
If I am too agressive with the converter I will spin off the line and kill my 60' with ET Streets!! If I launch at 2500-3000 I will spin so bad I will get a 2.2-2.5 60'
Someone please help! I need to know how to better put my power to the ground~!!!!

Last I checked, a TQ arm wasn't an internal engine part. Moving to the Drag Racing section.
BTW, most TQ arms aren't going to do much, if anything, for your 60 ft time.

Re: Torque Arm Gains
I beg to differ with the Colonel
When I had bolt ons and couldn't 60' worth a damn, I put in a random tech torque arm and my 60's went from 2.1 to 1.9's on street tires with no other changes. Remember this is at Carlsbad where there is zero track prep, but it was a definite improvement over stock.
