picked out the rims, now i need to decide what size rims/slicks to get is a 9" slick gonna hold 1.4 60' launches in an auto? its gonna be 26" high. or should i play it safe an go 10"? if i go smaller i can get the smaller convo pros that dont stick out, and have less rotating weight all together. at this point i could care less if they stick out though, ide like to hear from other people though figure about 415 rwhp with a 3.73 gear

I run 26x9x15 hoosier slicks and cut mid 1.4 sixties NA, best being 1.44... Roughly the same RWHP you mentioned with the stock rear and 3.23's... I haven't had a problem yet, although I haven't tried any steeper gears as of yet either.

Both the 26x9 Hoosiers and the 26x8.5 ET Drags work real good on LS-1 F body cars till the HP goes over 450. My opinion only. WJ.

I didn't like the 26x9 Hoosiers over my 26x10.5 ET Streets.. untill I got them 'broken in'. Now I love them.
I've been 1.53 on them a number of times.. Of course all I have is a 318rwhp bolt on car

you say until...does that mean before you even drove them you didnt like them, or the first couple runs down the track.
im afraid the 3.73s might blow them off. i can try them out, but i hate to throw them on, then find out they dont work well and lose money sellin them.
