UPCOMMING MODS.... I THINK..... HYPERTECH PROGRAMMER, 180 DEG STAT., HOOKER CERAMIC COATED SHORTTY HEADERS, LS6 INTAKE, MSD 8.5 MM WIRES, NGK TR55 PLUGS, RICHMOND 4.10 GEAR, EATON POSI UNIT, SLP CLUTCH AND FLYWHEEL PACKAGE, BMR CONTROL ARMS, BIGGER REAR TIRES (TRYING 295-305 ON STOCK RIM), BMR TORQUE ARM, BMR SUB FRAME CONNECTORS, BRM POLYURETHANE SWAY BAR BUSHINGS AND TRANNY BUSHINGS, CAT BYPASS PIPE, MOSER HD AXLES, PORTED THROTTLE BODY, 21MM REAR SWAY BAR, CAST IRON TRANNY SHIFT FORKS (I THINK THATS WAHT IT IS)
ARE ANY OF THESE WASTEFUL?? IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE THAT I CAN DO BOLT-ON WISE TO RUN BETTER, SUSPENSION ALSO.
I AM LOOKING FOR LOW 12'S ( HOPING 11'S <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> ) GETTING SOMEWHERE BETWEEN 360-380 RWHP. I HEARD THAT HYPERTECH ISNT GOOD AND THAT ITS REALLY GOOD?! I DONT WANT TO DO ANYTHING LIKE THE LS1 EDIT YET. WHAT ABOUT BUILDING THE REAR WITH WHAT I SAID? ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD DO TO BUILD IT BEEFY AND FAST?
IM 18 AND NOT MAKING TOO MUCH BEING IN COLLEGE TO GET A MOSER OR HEADS OR CAM. Im not a fan of SLP but if you like their stuff, go for it.
If you are getting LCA's you should get the relocation brktts specially if yourt car is lowered.
If your hoping for high 11's...i think your going to need more than that <img border="0" title="" alt="[Embarrassed]" src="gr_emb.gif" />
The LS6 intake in another thing that isnt cheap, and doesnt give much power for a internally stock engine. (throw a cam in and then its worht the $$ <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> ) The shorties are a complete waste of money.go with some LT's. In some cases i have seen NO gains with shorty headers.

The thing that I would worry about the most with your build up is blowing up the rear end. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" />
You would have to come out of the whole very soft to save the rear end. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
If I had to do it all over again with a M6 Hot Rod, I would do rear end, real good clutch, a good air lid and pair of the new thunder racing headers. Top it all off with some 28 inch front runners and 28 inch slicks. <img border="0" alt="[evil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />
I believe that this combo would get you the time you are striving for. <img border="0" alt="[driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" />
