Default M6 question on Drag tires

the best 60' i could cut on my street tires is a 2.17 which is really hurtin my et. it seems whenever i launch my car i will either spin the tires or bog. my question is when you pop the clutch on drag tires at a high rpm will it bog or just take off? thanks for your help.

With good, sticky drag tires, such as ET Streets, Drags, Hoosiers, or M&H's, your rear axle won't take too many high RPM launches....3.42's, or .73's, or 4.10's. BANG. Axle shaft, or spiders, or ring& pinion. Keep launch rpm's 3500, or below, and w/TA cover & studbolt kit it MAY live for awhile.....That's why they're selling so many 12 bolts!
