4pt harness What do NHRA rules require for a harness? Can I get by with a 4pt? I would like to do something like this..

Re: 4pt harness 4pt is not legal. even if it had a crotch strap that belt you showed would not be legal anyways, unless you just meant you would like to run an SFI approved harness in a similar manner.
what i can tell you though is that i ran my car several times at 2 IHRA tracks and once at an NHRA track before i installed my crotch strap and they never paid attention to it. they always just looks at how the shoulder straps were attached and the date on that. i now use the crotch strap for my own good though
