Default Still running 13.5

Went to the track again today and i dropped my 13.7 to a 13.5. Thats still highly dissapointing since 13.5 is the stock #'s for my car. ANywho. My question is since im trapping at 106.3 isnt that mean I have 12.9's in her. If I put drag radiials and cut my 60 times from 2.02 to 1.7 and stop spinning through 2nd I think I shoudl go 12.9 easy right?

All the other cars there trapping 106 and 107 were 12.8 ro 12.5 cars. I just need to pray my 10 bolt holds.

Oh I forgot to mention. the difference between my 13.7 and 13.5 was :
- put my stock wheeles back on
- installed Jantzer TB
- went from 3.73 to 4.10s

But like i said, my real question is just that at 106 mph should I be capable of high 12's?

Lemme konw what you think.

Thanks

Wow, you have some serious problems if you've got all those mods and still only go mid 13's. Where are you racing at? On top of a mountain?

thats what I say man. I cant hook. and am scared to do DRs cause of my crappy 10 bolt.

Im racing at 75&80 in Maryland wich is konw to be a bad track for ETs because of its slight grade, but still!

I may go get a dyno test to see what im putting out. But my MPH is still decent. Its right there with all the other 12.5 to 12.8 cars that I saw there today.

DOnno.

106 should be good for low 13s, but you'd have to hook really good to get below that.....i was going 107 at 13.1 through my stock manifolds......the 19's are hurting you, too....i run the 555rs everywhere and they hook good, but not 1.7 good.......

106 MPH with 4.10's should be mid to high 12's.

I ran a 13.5 @ 104mph with a 2.1 60' with 4.10's and DR's ( Spun the tires of the line on that run)

I bet 2nd gear is killing you mostly. With street tires, I couldn't get 2nd gear to hook up. Best time I had on street tires was 14.0 @ 104mph with a 2.1 60'. The drag radials dropped a half of a second of my ET's because I was able to use 2nd gear without spinning the tires all the way through it.

The pass after that I got it down to a 1.9 60' but I missed a shift
That would have been a very low 13 or possibly a 12 second pass.

I was running my stock 17" 10 spoke SS wheels with 275/40/17 BFG Comp T/A's @ 22psi. Still not enough traction though. I think Im going to have to get some Drag Radials and cross my fingers for the rear to hold.
