11's Finally! Video too:) Well the track was open today and we decided to get out there to see what the car would do with some more miles on the ET Streets. We are 5560ft above sea level here at our track(alb, nm) Temp was 63 degress out. I am the first 4th gen F-body to hit 11s here at our track.

tire pressure was 18psi the track was still a little slippery off the launch pad(hit the rev limiter after the left the pad) but she went the rest of the way with no problem <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> I was told not to run it anymore today(no roll bar or DS loop)
So my first pass was my last pass <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" />
It feels great and I know with a 60ft of 1.40 she will go low 11s here no problem. I can't wait till they get the track hooking.

Dug, the car shifts 1-2 without hitting the limiter, but this time the tire lost traction right off the pad and spun causing the limiter smack <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> They should have more VHT on the track next weekend tho, so this little problem should be taken care of. Last weekend I went 12.1 but the car went towards the wall right off the pad and I had to get out of hit for a sec but it hooked again. It didn't hit the limiter then but it did drift bad. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> The track was shut down for 2 years so it will be green until a few more cars lay down more rubber and we get more VHT layed down. But you think 10s, that would be awesome, I know mid to low 11's but I would freak if I hit 10s with my combo up here. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: 11's Finally! Video too:) Dug nope stock 98 heads untouched never been off. They will be for sale after my new 348 forged block is in, I have a set of 6.0 heads for that motor. The only thing that has been done to my lil 346 is a MTI B1 cam, springs and ti retainers for the added lift of the cam. I am running 9psi. I want to step it up to 15psi with the new motor. I will need to get the 4l60E rebuilt for that and a new diff, I still run the stock 10 bolt <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
