Default Weighed the LT1 last night...

With a 1/4 tank of gas and without me in it, the car came out to 3290 pounds. I'm pretty satisfied so far

Things left to do:
VFN Hood
Hood pin mod
Hawker/Odyssey battery
Bumper supports
Lightweight carpet
Seats
LS1 tank swap

and a few others off Colonel's list :devil

Nice weight, what all is involved in swapping our tanks for one of the LS1 tanks? I am in the middle of quite a bit of weight reduction and I was thinking of either going for that or a fuel cell.

Thanks.

My car has been as light as 3140 without me and 3/4 tank of gas. Most of interior was gone, bumper supports, no front sway bar and lightweight wheels. I'm sure its up to 3300 without me now though.

--!AC
--HVAC "lite" (just a heater core and permanent defrost)
--!Spare / jack
--!Cruise control
--!ASR motor
--!Rear seats / belts
--!Firewall insulation

Interesting side note... without firewall insulation you really don't need defrost that often... usually just the heat of the motor is enough to get the windshield all nice n' toasty
