Default 16" Hoosier Slicks????

I currently have 26x9x15 ET Drags mounted on 15x8 Weld Pro Stars. I'm looking to upgrade my tire setup as the 388 will present more traction problems. I came across a good deal on some 16x9 Weld Draglites and was wondering if anyone has had any luck with the 28x10x16 Hoosier Slicks. I was orinally going to go with 28x10.5x15 Hoosiers on a 15x10 wheel, but seeing as how I may have a good deal on the 16" rims I may try the 16" Hoosiers out. Do you guys think one less inch of sidewall and a 1/2 inch less tread will hurt me that much with the 16" slicks?? TIA. ~Tony

I used them with pretty good success. Only downside is that they are the medium compound and not the soft. They will last longer but not hook as well on marginal tracks...
Cheers,
Chris
