Default 3.73's to 4.10's

Last fall I blew up my rearend. I upgraded to a 12-bolt with 4.10's. I had 3.73's in my 10-bolt and I am curious how much slower my trap speed, and top end will be.

VERY little difference. Sure, the 12-bolt is a little heavier and just a tiny bit harder to turn but the extra gearing will help to make up for that. You'd have to test it with the same DA with multiple runs in both cases to get an idea of how much, and if, it slowed you down. You obviously won't be able to do that so you'll have to let your imagination be your guide.

The one for the '02 streetcar? It's still just a dream at this point. It'll be a 460-470 depending on how far we dare to stretch the bore. My wallet is going to have to recover from the 434 C5R project that's still in process first (that could be a good while!). In the meantime I may experiment with a REALLY streetable heads/cam combo I've been dreaming of that I think will turn some heads.

Right now I'm enjoying it being internally stock. Since I haven't driven the racecar in about a year, this lowly 11 second car is actually starting to feel a little faster.

your street car is already going 11 what do you have done to that bad boy?
also a quick question I was thinking of selling my 10-bolt and I wasn't sure what to ask for it. It needs spider gears the axles, auburn case and 3.73's are still ok and I took the brakes off to put on my new unit, also it has a MAC girdle on it. what do you think?
