Clash of the Titans
Just got back from River City Raceway, and we had a great time! The people were awesome, not an angry face in the crowd. Just a friendly reminder that it's a lot more fun to go racing with people who aren't bickering about something nobody cares about!

Re: Clash of the Titans
Stephen,
I hope you had a great time at the races. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
The people over at RCR are great. Todd runs a great track and is one hell of a nice guy. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

Coach, yeah the track was great, we plan on making the next race in Houston and the last 2 again at RCR...trying to get into the points race! I'm getting the impresion that 10.5 tire racing is the way to go, there's no doubt that's where the money is at!

Aren't these the guys with something like a $2500 engine buy-out deal? I've read a little about this new class, but I didn't think the guys would have those cars flying like that!

Kinda cool. Buy-out $3k for longblock, $2k for tranny/converter, $500 for carb. $5500 and you have a complete drivetrain. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

He's testing out a new product and something went wrong with it. I'm not going to give details because he may not want it publicized. He said he let off 5.9 seconds into the pass and ended up coasting to a 7.3.

One guy last year refused a claim and therefore lost the points for the year, not like it mattered it was the last race of the year. I think they should make it points and prize money, then it'd be interesting. Still, they are running damn fast for the money!
