Towed the Bird to the track So I pulled the bird to the track yesterday behind the Z71 I recently bought just to get a feel for how the truck pulls and make some more passes in the cool air. Unfortunatly they did not prep the track at all so getting some good 60's was pretty tricky. On my last trip to the track I could launch at 6500 and hook hard enough to get a few 1.61 60's, this weekend I got the best 60's launching around 5500 or so with a little wheelspin right off the line.

The DA was about +1030 and raceweight was around 3625 (3/4 tank of gas <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> ) My nitrous kit isn't together right now because I am in the process of "upgrading" a little, so I didnt make any nitrous passes unfortunatly.

Did you race at TAD? Were you running in the bracket race on Sunday?

Re: Towed the Bird to the track I have run at Navasota Raceway the past few times I have gone to the track. They are having a big event on May 10th (10k payout and Extreme bikini contest) you might want to check it out Coach <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
