lightweight battery question....
lightweight battery question.... In an effort ot shave more weight off the car, I am looking into a leightweight battery. The only thing is that I need a battery to support the current load of a bottle heater for my nitrous and autotap. I do put the car on the charger periodically on a race day, but it can sit in the lanes with no charger and the heater on for quite some time....and I have the ignition on a lot for autotap and edit at times in the lanes.
Trying to save as much weight as possible here......and it needs to have the same dimensions at the stocker so it will look right in the stock holder up front (moving to rear soon, just not enough time right now).
Anybody out there have any suggestions for a battery?

I doubt you will be able to run the accessories you describe very long without the engine running.
