Default question about 1/8mi trap speed

went to the track saturday and only ran about 5 times. 4 were all 8.6@83 but one of them was 9.9@ 92. i thought that 92 was pretty high for a 98 Z automatic with just a ts&p lid & loudmouth, no spare or jack, a/c delete. could the track be off? weather was cool & windy. elevation about 600

I'm thinking the track was off. There's too much of a difference in your other runs. Plus, 92 mph would be indicative of high 7 e.t.'s.

Sounds like a glitch in the timing equipment on that pass...

That's nearly a 10mph difference in the 1/8th mile, which is a big change. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
