26 inch slick enough?

26 inch slick enough? Well, I'm finally going to toss the ET streets aside and get some real tires pretty soon here. The best 60' I could do with the 26x11.5x16 ET streets was high 1.5 range, just couldn't hook beyond that. I have added a 100 shot to the car and I want to spray out of the hole. Will the 26x10x15 hoosier slicks be enough to dead hook. I'm tired of having traction issues. Should I consider a larger tire like a 28? I still have 3.23 gears btw.

After my 11.00 run on the stupid stock wheels with ET streets and a mid 1.6 60'
, I decided it was time for the ET streets to go. I'll be ordering a set of bogart front and rear wheels, with front skinnies and rear 26 inch slicks. The weight reduction should be quite a bit from going to those wheels over stock wheels and stock front tires and rear et streets on stock wheels. Hopefully, the 60' dropping from 1.65 to 1.45 plus the weight reduction should put me in the 10s since I only had .01 to go.
