Wink need help please

All,
I am new member to this site and a new camaro owner. I was wondering if any of ya'll could help me put together a list of what items it would take to get my 98 Z into the low 11's. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

probably best in the newbie forum, but I would say less than 3500# raceweight, all the basic bolt-ons, if it's an auto a high (4000+) stall converter and a good cam should do it, some suspension, and some sticky tires.

or you could just spray it

Basicly, weight reduction (good weight transfer) and a well setup car. What elevation (track) will you be running at?

we'll start by moving this to the tech forum where you'll get help

are you 6 speed or auto? do you want to run that number n/a or with a power adder?

I have an automatic and I'd prefer to run those times w/out forced induction. Have any suggestions?

What's your budget? Is it an all option car? First things first; take off your front sway bar

Bolt-ons: exhaust (LT headers and true duals or y-pipe and catback), LS6 or better intake, ported TB, lid & filter, free mods (TB bypass, FRA, ect), 160* thermo, upgrade gears (maybe 3.73).

Suspension: some good (HAL/QA1 or similar) adjustable shocks, LCA's, not really needed, but Tq arm, SFC's, light weight suspesion (k-member & a-arms)

4000+ stall converter, trans cooler, trans temp gauge

Weight reduction: see list in one of thse forums or do a search, many things listed, some very easy to do. I recommend getting a set of drag wheels with some good sticky tires on the rear.

And then a decent sized cam, maybe 230ish at least with all the goodies.

Give Texas Speed a call and ask for Trevor or Jason, they can set you up with EVERYTHING you will need to get that car running awesome
