First time at the track
First time at the track Okay, so I went to the great lakes dragway in Wisconsin last weekend. It was my first time at the track.
I got in three runs before my clutch pedal stuck to the floor. (I've since fixed that) I didn't need to do any burnouts; the tires were much stickier than my clutch!
My best run was:
R/T: .508
60 ft: 2.09
330: 5.727
1/8: 8.665
mph: 84.26
1000: 11.164
1/4 mile: 13.282
mph: 106.86
That was launching at about 2200 RPMs. When I tried to launch over that, the clutch would not grab and I got a 13.8. I was hoping for better, but I did get better times than a mustang, a 'vette, and a trans am that were there, so that helps a little. I'm pretty sure I beat everyone there that actually DROVE into the place.
I'll post up more complete data and the other two runs when I get home. Now I am just itching to finish my boltons and get into the 12's.
So, does anything look terribly out of place? The temp was high 70's.

(mph was low that time... I had a bad r/t and hit the rev limiter before shifting into 4th)

mph: 106.73
