Default wheel hop

Hey fellas,

I got some 19'' rims and low profile tires on my Y2K C5 Vert to help w/ looks and handling at triple digit speeds....

My question is that I have been practicing my launches at about 3k rpm.....i have been getting a lot of wheel hop at that rpm.....I haven't done anything w/ tire pressure yet, but do you guys have any suggestions. (do not want to run DR's just yet) I also have the base suspension on my car which doesn't help w/ the hop.

If i launch too high (over 4k) i just sit and spin and if i go to low, I bog. Does anyone have a similar setup that can help me.....I haven't spent too much time at the track in the last couple years......but need to shut some peopel up...LOL

Mods in my sig.....

thanks

Well I would say alot has to do with 19" wheels. Not much sidewall to give there.

if you are going for performance, then lose the 19's!
