Default Driveshaft

Well,
It's all fun and games launcing the car on ET streets at 5K....until someone/something gets hurt!

Yesterday we sent our driveshaft "out to pasture" so to speak. It was supposed to be stronger than stock, I guess it wasn't strong enough. Anyways, now we're sitting with no DS. What brand/size/metal are most of you guys running here?

We're running a 382 all bore TA w/ a 12 bolt, and a 4.10 gear. It's got a D&D tranny and a Ram clutch. the clutch and everything held up great, the DS just wasnt ready i dont guess......The u-joints were even still in good shape.

So, 3" chromoly sound about right? Who makes the best? Who stands behind it?

Thanks!
Tim

I know it has been asked many times before, as many questions have, but thats why it's a message board! Anyways, already checked in on the prices of the Denny's N2O one, and will call tommorow about the PST one tommorow.

What do you guys think about mild steel DS's???? for or against them? I guess i could search from the answer, i was just hoping to talk it over a little.
