Talking Removing Interior/Adding 10 Point Roll Cage

Hi all,

I will be basically gutting the interior of a 95 T/A today to make
way for the installation of a 10 point S&W roll cage.

I will eventually replace the seats (maybe I will end up with just
one seat) and probably removing for good the rear seats and fold
down.

I imagine alot of this stuff won't be put back as this will be a drag
car first and foremost. If it's driven at all it will be to and from the
shop and to and from the track.

I am also think about replacing the factory carpeting and padding
etc. with something lighter like the "trunk" type fabric or the thought
has crossed my mind to try some sort of bedliner type coating used
to pickup truck beds.

I'm open for suggestions on this stuff and looking for any possible
"gotchas" that may be lurking....

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Ken

you can always just rip off the sound deadening from the back of the stock carpet or even just buy the premolded lightweight carpet from Speed Inc. I'd just go ahead and do the lightweight aluminum seats and get everything taken care of harness wise as well as seat mounting to go along with the cage placement. Good luck man.
