Default Question for Drag Race Suspension Gurus

My car has gone through some major changes in the last couple months including a 231/237 cam, a lot of weight reduction, and a lot of suspension work.

I am concerned about the Lower Control Arm Relocation Brackets (BMR Weld In). During the install the rear end (12-bolt Moser) had to be pushed forward 1-1/2-2" to meet the Lower Control Arms (BMR Non Adj Poly ends). The control arms were put in the bottom hole of the relocation brackets.

The rear end is so far forward now there is only about 3/4 of an inch between the front of the tire (MT 26X10.5X15) and the wheel well and now there is about 4 inches from the rear of the wheel well.

Do the Lower Control Arm Relocation Brackets require Adjusable Lower Control Arms, or is there something seriously wrong with the suspension? Could the original LCA mounts welded to the rear by moser be off? Could the pinion angle be off so bad its throwing the rear end off center?

For all intensive purposes it seems that everything is working correctly. The car deffinately bites harderd on the launch and transfers weight well. It does not seem as if the driveshaft is binding up at all, I do not have any strange vibration from the driveline. I will deffinately not be able to fit a 28" tire in the wheel well now the way it sits.

Thanks for any feedback in advance. Mods if this needs to be moved please feel free. I just figured to ask here first because some of the best advice I've read concerning drag type suspensions I have found in this forum.

You ned adjustable lowers and a panhard to recenter the rear end.

Wow that was quick, thank you.

How much adjustment do most of these lower control arms provide? The rear end probably has to go back about 1-1/2 inch.

I sure wish you were closer to home MADMAN, I would have had my car at your shop to have the suspension tuned a long time ago. After everything i've read about people at the Thunder Shootout and your suspension work, you know your stuff.

You will have enough adjustment with a set of dbl. adjustables.

MADMAN's reputation deffinately speaks for itself. Like I said before if I was closer I would have had my car into his shop a long time ago.

After measuring it looks like the tire will have to be pushed back about 3/4" to be centered in the tire well again. I think i'm going to go with the BMR MCA002 street adjustable control arms.

The car will go mid to low 11's N/A and probably Mid 10's with N20. I don't think I will need any of the race versions. If anyone does have any reason why I should run the race or extreme version feel free to comment.
