I was just getting ready to order a 5pt and heard that IHRA was going with same rule as NHRA. I thought was 6pt .Does any one no for sure. I hope its not a 10pt like i just read.Would like to take advantage of the sale at wolfe.

Go to NHRA website. Depending on the time your running, it's not hard to fall into the 10 point catagory.

Iam running 11.6 so by spring with the work iam doing nowhope low 11s 10s by end of season. The trac i run at is IHRA. 11.49 5pt .

I wouldnt waste my money on a 5 point. The 6 is safer and will tie the car together better. It is your life so spend your money where it counts.

NHRA has a 5-point roll bar rule for cars running 11.99 - 10.00, for cars running 9.99 or faster NHRA requires a 10-point roll cage. As said by Madman, go with a 6-point roll bar for true safety, if you don't want a cage.
