Default In major need of opinions please!

Ok, so a couple of weeks ago I was out with a bunch of buddies at a restaurant about an hour away from home and on the way home we were messin around a bit on the highway when all of the sudden at the top of third one time my car got engulfed in smoke! So we pulled over, and nothing, no more smoke, nothing was overheating, car was running great! Checked all fluids when I got home, and only thing that was low was the oil by about a quart (it was a little over the add line before I left that night, then it was a little under the add line when I got home). I filled it up to just a little under the full mark (took a quart). During the next week of driving it ate another quart of oil! Then this week I was trying to get the car tuned in for the nitrous kit I just purchased so I could spray this weekend at our track rental in bradenton and all of the sudden my wot tune is way off!!! The o2's were at like 900 - 910 area the last time I had checked it (good thing I checked before just assuming it was the same and just spraying it) and now all of the sudden i'm havin some issues, it's leaning out big time on the top end!!!! It gets worse as I go higher in the gears too!!! I ended up not spraying this weekend and ataping my motor runs. I saw as low as 820's on the o2's on one of the runs at the top of third!!! And it's constantly fluctuating and gets lower as I go up in the gears!! I trailered the car there with my work van and a rented uhaul trailer, checked the oil when I got there, was just under full, ran 6 runs, no street driving, and checked the oil again when I got home after unloading off the trailer and it was just slightly above the add line, so i'm like WTF?! Does anyone have any ideas of what could be the problem? I'm thinkin bad rings? And a buddy of mine said that could be causing my leaning out problem cuz there could be too much oil in the cylinders and it's eating up the octane. What do you guys think?

Here's my setup:

comp 228 cam
jet-hot longtubes with 18" extensions off the collectors
turbo 400
12-bolt
ls6 intake and lid and filter

That's all I have, the extensions couldn't be messing up the readings on the o2 sensors, could they? The plugs are white, so I think it is definately running lean. Am I lookin at bad rings? You have to pull the motor and basically freshen it up, right? If that's the case, i'll just start buildin the motor i've been thinkin bout a little earlier, cuz if I have to pull the motor, a bigger, better one is goin back in and i'll save the nitrous kit for that motor!!! I just wish I would've been able to spray this weekend, I was lookin forward to it ever since I bought the spray kit, and now I haven't even gotten to use it yet, sucks!
