Default Comp Engineering Shocks:

Being taken under by a scam fairly recently completely molested the $140-Up EACH QA1 idea Has anyone used these? The price is killer.

Before anyone bothers beating the dead horse...I know, 'you get what you pay for'-been there, know that. I'm just looking for a little more than what the factory crappers can do. The ability to tighten them up would help out stability a tad w/o the front bar, and, well, you all know the other advantages...

BTW, it says: 'Not for street use'. Anyone care to touch on why?

I just found that they do not carry a front shock for our cars I guess I haven't much of a choice up front. But, that still leaves the rear open for the budget shocks...

I'll shoot him a PM. Thanks

I run them on the back set 50/50...
They seem to work fairly well as I've run 1.40 60fts using them along with QA1's up front.

race only is bullshit disclaimer i imagine, probably just got too lazy to get them certified for use by DOT or something.

they are much better than a stock shock in that you can do at least some adjusting. good mod for the money and easy to install

4k? What are the miles on the set you have now? Did you find out what went out on it? I like to drive my 'track-only' car more than I probably should...

I guess I'll try a set. I just hope they last longer than the 4k you got out of your first set. Even that's a waste of what they cost...

Now is a good time for the upgrade. 'Maddboost' has a deal going on in the Specials section for the 'F' and 'R' sets
