Default abs delete/line lock

I installed a Biondo Line Lock ($39.88) & a Summit Proportioning Valve ($39.50) I got two adapters for my factory master cylinder Edelmann part # 264000 for front brakes & Edelmann part# 265000 for rear brakes. This allows you to hook up regular 3/8-24 inverted flare brake line fittings to your master cylinder. You can buy premade brake line with these fittings at napa in many different lengths. From there I ran lines to the LL & proportioning valve. They both require a 3/8-24 IF female to 1/8 npt male adapters which I bought at NAPA. The outlet of the Line Lock was a "T". I was hoping for a bolt together mod but I could not find any adapter to fit the 2 front and 1 rear brake lines that used to hook to the abs block. The are male 10mm 1.0 pitch. I had to cut them off and put on the 3/8-24 fittings also from NAPA. I borrowed a double flare/ inverted flare tool. It wasn't hard at all to reflare these lines.

Things I learned as this was my first time to mess with brake lines. Bubble Flare is what the factory lines are using, Inverted Flare is the same as Double Flare (depends on who you are talking to) The cheapie tubing bender worked great, the install doesn't look too bad for my first time.

I hooked the Line Lock activation to my horn wire. I no longer have a horn. I haven't got to try this out yet. I have never done a burn out with a line lock. I think it will work OK? I mounted the line lock along the frame where the abs mount used to be bolted. Check out the pics.

Sorry for the lengthy thread. Money wise it was pretty cheap. If I had to buy the flare tool it would have been $50.00 at NAPA

Looks real clean for your first time. Post how it does at the track. It was a very cheap mod, wish some of mine had been that cheap.

Great work! Glad you figured out the adapters because on my LT1 car I could not find one for the rear line. I eventually gave up and ran an entire new rear line (huge PITA).. now that I know I can get the adapters I have an excuse to get rid of the ABS unit and add a line lock to the new car!

It weighed 8 lbs 12 oz with the 4 bolts. That was w/o any brake fluid left in it.
