Is a 1.6 dreaming with this setup???
Is a 1.6 dreaming with this setup??? This winter I am putting all of my energy into getting better launches next season. My goal, if you could call it that, is to get a short time of 1.6. Here is my plan for launching my heads/cam Trans Am:
Front suspension:
Hal series R shocks
No sway bar
Spring rate of around 290
Rear suspension:
Hal shocks
Lower control arm relocation brackets
Stiffer rear springs
Other:
Adjustable Torque Arm
BFG Drag radials
75 shot out of the hole (2 stage bringing on 100 more slightly later)
So again, is a 1.6 dreaming, or could it be done with this setup.

Stick car? Auto? Must be a stick. If so, I'd say 1.6 will be really tough to achieve w/your setup. If you had a Auto, a 3,000-3,500 converter and decent tires---1.6's would be easy. Without the juice.... WJ
