Default Vig3200 to 3800?

I've been doing alot of searching & can't find much about the Vig3800 (single disc). Im running the 3200 & love it, just want to know what gain can I expect in 1/4 with 3800.
With the 3200 im consistant 1.63-1.67 60', 11.90's, 113's I've been planning for a TP4000 but money is tight & I can restall the VIG cheep. Also with the Vig3800 should I plan to lock it up in 3rd?
Thanks for the help, This is a cam only N/A car, Driveablity is no-concern.
Thanks
Bill

I would stick with a #7 pump = 3600. It will stall simular to 4000-4200 Yank, with a little less hit out of the hole.

I ran this same converter and loved it. The Vig 3600 is a sweet converter....

Slacker- I switched from the 2800 (#0 pump) to the 3600 (#7 pump) and boy what a difference. I would definately think the 3600 will get you that 1.5x 60' your looking for. In my honest opinion, I think that converter left harder than this TP4600......Launch that sucker just a tad above idle. Do a search on "my mods/ET's" in the 'results' section and I've listed my restall with ET data.....You'll love the restall!

Thanks for the info, I'll do the search. One of the things I really like about the VIG is launching from idle.

Thanks again
