Default Hooker CB to HookerMouth?

I love my Hooker CB, But im trying to get every little bit before converter upgrade. For track days only, Im planning to remove the Hooker at the muffler & bolt up a Dynomax bullet 3" in & out with a turn down. Should drop some weight & free up HP. I wanted a setup I could drive to & from the track with the best flow & no hassel.

What hp gain do you think I would get, if any?

What et gain do you think I would get?

Thanks, I'll post pic's when all done.

I was thinking of trying that with my Hooker system on my SS. If anything, it would probably reduce your ET by .1 second and reduce your weight by ~10-15lbs or so.

Im hoping to cut .2 with the muffler swap, shift point raise from 6700-6800, possibly an ls6 intake, mixture tuning, & some extra weight reduction here & there.

Update, I can't post the pic file to big? But the new race bullet is way too loud!! Ok for to & from the track. I drop 25lbs race weight 3475 now.
Hooker muffler & tips=33lbs
New dynomax race bullet & dump=8lbs
I ran the car last night at Moroso got my best MPH 114.69 DA was 950ish & temp around 74.
Best run on the night;
1.67 60', 7.63 1/8, 11.95 1/4, 114.69 mph

For the money (under $60)not a bad gain, My best run ever of 11.91 @ 113.69 DA was 200 & track prep was better. Every bit helps
