Weight distribution ?
I am looking for your advice. I am going to be mounting either 1 or 2 - 15 pound nitrous bottles in my car. The reason for 2 bottles is so that when I race I won't get any (or as little as possible) pressure drop in the n2o system. I want to run heaters on both bottles and T the bottles into the main supply line. Do you guy's agree with this or is one bottle going to give me enough consistency? Right now I notice that my full bottle drops about 100 - 150 psi on a 125 shot with no heater.
If i decide to go with 2 bottles , I was thinking of 3 different places to mount them.
1. Where the backs of the rear seat used to be.
2. directly above the gas tank on that flat area. (Where my subs used to be).
3. On the long side of the trunk area.
So for weight distribution sake, If I was going to mount 2 bottles where would be the most ideal spot. Reason I ask is because 2 bottles will probably add up to 50 - 60 pounds when full.
