Just had some manual brakes installed, as well as the ABS delete, and already I'm wondering if I made a mistake. On the plus side, they save a little over 10 pounds off the front of the car. However, they aren't as strong as power assisted brakes and you can't stall as high. I used to be able to stall up to 3000 before the car would start to roll forward. Now I can maybe stall up to 2400 if I press hard on the brake pedal. Not to mention stopping distance has increased noticeably. Maybe I should have just went with the ABS delete only. Oh well, I'm stuck with them now. Anyone else notice they can't stall as high?

I have no problem holding the car on the line with manual brakes, stopping takes about twice the pedal pressure. I wouldnt feel real comfortable street driving the car to be honest.
I did it mainly for underhood room.

It sure does free up some space too. That's another plus.
I have the strange racing brakes front and rear. I wonder if that has something to do with me not being able to stall as high as I used to.

I have aeropace in the front and it still holds OK. The car really stopped prety bad until I had a few passes on it and the pads bedded in. I didnt think I was going to stop in time the first pass, probably shouldnt have made a full pass on all new brakes
