Tire and wheel combo
I am wondering which tire and wheel combo (brand and sizes) everyone is running on their cars which are mainly used for drags. I currently have Torque thrust 2's 17x9 and 17x11 and man those things are heavy, I am slowly converting to a full drag car and want to know more about a good lightweight setup that will fit correctly. Thanks

Weld Draglites
15x3.5 up front and 15x10 (7.5 BS) out back. You will need to grind the **** out of the calipers out back to make the 15x10's fit, and use a spacer up front for the skinnies, or you could grind them too if you wanted. I run pepboy futura 165r15 "beetle" radials up front (cuz I still drive the car on the street and they're really cheap, like $24 a piece) and at the track, I run 28x10.5x15 M/T ET Drags (they are the ****) out back!!!!

Thanks for the info. I heard if you run the 16" wheels they require a little less grinding on the back, is this true? Also where is the cheapest place to get these wheels and what about bogarts?
