Here you go

From Summitracing.com

Grt-3021 - quick release hub
Grt-3196 - wheel install (didn't use or need it with the quick release)
Grt-773 - GT Steering wheel.

Fits great. Lost a lot of weight by just getting rid of the air bag.

The steering wheel numbers will vary on which type you like

don't mean to hijack bud, but can you just install the wheel with the install kit without the quick release? i already have a steering wheel puller. thanks

Stroked -- easy install. On my 98SS there was 4 bolts on the back side of the air bag. The air bag came off, just disconnected all the wires. Used a wheel puller to take off the stock wheel. Used the quick release - bolted it on. Tighten the **** out of it. The new wheel just bolts to the quick release.

mdblackz28 -- you can use either the quick release or install kit. You don't need both.

You can even re-hook up the horn -- if you really want to

damn, $100 for the quick release....seems gay to complain about that and spend 3k on a turbo with no questions...but damn dude, thats steep for a quick release.

So if you use the wheel install which I assume is the adapter, then you wont need the quick release and vice versa? Are all the wheels listed on Summit's site universal or do they have wheels specifically for Camaros? Is the steering column still gonna tilt? If not, then that will be my decision to buy the quick disconnect. I really dont need it as I only have a 6 point in my car and I'm fairly thin as well.

Just got off the phone with some lady at Grant and they say the GRT-3021 quick release hub will not work on my 2000 SS. They said they're not made for vehicles with airbags and are not allowed to sell them due to legal reasons. She said that they're different and will not bolt up. Is this lady full of it or will the wheel and quick release hub work on my 2000 SS. The GRT-3021 quick release hub is for steering wheels with the 5 bolt patter and the GRT-3001 is intended for steering wheels with the 3 bolt pattern. She said both hubs are identical besides the bolt pattern for the wheel. Just need to make sure that this hub will work or not before I purchase it. Is there any modifications needed for this wheel and hub assembly, or is it just a simple swap?

you are removing the air bag....you don't tell them your life story when you call. just give them the part number of what you want, your visa number and wait for the parts to ship out.

The lady is full of BS. Unless mine doesn't fit - well I guess it does . I agree with A3Z28. Why order them from Grant - cheaper at summingracing.com

The reason I called up there is because I was looking at a different wheel than what you posted and I wanted to know if the wheel I was looking at worked with the adapter. Its a good thing I did because it doesnt work. I need the adapter/hub with the 3 bolt pattern, not 5. The part number on it is GRT-3001. The GRT-3021 is for wheels with the 5 bolt pattern. I kinda figured she was bull because of the whole airbag issue. I will be ordering from Summit, I just wanted to be sure that what I was buying is going to fit, otherwise I would of ended up with a 5 bolt hub and a 3 bolt wheel.

I'm looking right now and it says, "Designed to fit Grant 5 bolt pattern wheels." I didnt see anywhere that it said 3 and 5.

Summit has their own brand of quick release thats cheaper than the Grant and it's for a 3 bolt wheel.
