Start around 20lbs, do a quick little burnout at the test area, look n see if the width of the burn is the same as the tire, if not lower 1psi and repeat. Did you get MT DRs?

i would also try as suggested by cat3. then once you have a pressure you like, try changing 1 psi at a time and see how it effects your times

I start out at 18 psi cold

1.652 11.671 @ 114.18
1.629 11.664 @ 114.24
1.619 11.628 @ 114.53
1.739 11.749 @ 114.83

100 shot
1.678 11.162 @ 124.00
1.508 10.852 @ 124.00 and got the stock 17" tire off the ground

I have been running 16.5 and they seem to work good there. I went to Gulfport dragway and never changed to lower psi and still pulled off 1.62 compared to No problem ( best hooking track in the country) and there I pulled a 1.59. I believe going down to 15psi would have done a little better at gulfport though.
