^^ what are you guys using for turn signals? Just dash mounted switches? I'd like to weld a tab onto the column and mount a stalk that has headlights, hi-beam, and turn signals.

I am using this http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Hi-Tec...dard,2366.html with two momentary switches that you can pick up at radio shack.

Why exactly is that necessary?

I am not using a multi function switch so that is used to control the turn/hazard signals

steve... what about the possibilty of one that uses a factory style headlight, wiper, and blinker switch???

that would probably just about defeat the purpose of having a lightweight column... but I'm trying to get rid of every bit of weight I can and still keep the car functional.

If I can figure this out I will def order a column. Even if it wasnt a factory style stalk, it still needs to be functional and look good. There has to be a stalk from a Honda or Dodge, or something that will work and someone could make an aesthetically pleasing mount for.

That's what I'm doing. To the left by the headlight/dimmer switches.

MUCH easier and more practical to rewire a new switch. There is no good way to make the factory one work on the column or we would have done it already.

What are the options for windshield wiper control? High beam control? Is it possible to install an engine start button that will start and shut off the engine, completely bypassing the keyed ignition?

We can look into a turn signal option. I doubt we would work on a setup that retains all of the functionality on the current column. It defeats the purpose of a lightweight one and the one we design will not be NTSB compliant.

I would consider this a track part and not soo much a street part.

You can wire in an old school floor mounted dimmer switch to control the hi/low beams.
