GUYS WITH MINI-TUBS INSIDE(interior question's)------> How did you guys make the interior panels fit? Mine are not even close, I see many hours with a heatgun to make them even remotely go back in the car(94 Z28) Back seat has been deleted, any thoughts, pics etc..... Thanks David |
My tubs fit under my factory panels. |
Haven't done it myself, but I've seen several where the panels were trimmed to fit. |
Any chance of you mini tub guys taking some photos and showing us how your setups are done? I know I for one would like to see them. |

hey Brady, what did you do as far as the phb mount on the pass. side? did you relocate it or what? on mine, it is a major hinderance to fitting my tire/rim pkg. with the new rear i've got that's narrowed 2"/side. any help would be very much appreciated. thanks, Dave |
Brady, I have to give you props, that car looks sick with the DR on it in that picture. |
Dave, I don't remember doing anything there, but I'll double check. My rear is narrowed 2.5" per side and I have 6" backspaced magnum drags. This combo makes the wheels tuck 1" per side. I have offset LCA's and I had to trim the LCA relocation brackets at the bottom to clear the wheels. Thanks Dave. |

Thanks Dave. yea i have the offsets too that move the lca's inboard like 3/4" on each side vs. the factory location. i know with the minitub it'll fit the well right, but the phb mount seems like it will be a challenge and i don't think my wheels will be in quite as much as yours are. i'm running a 15x11 with 6.5" bs and a 325/50/15 for now and then up to 30's when the turbos find their way on the car over the winter. tia for taking a look at it. |

You need a LOT of power to take advantage of the 315/60 like Brady has...ALOT, You can go low 9's on a 325/50 which is why me and my Dad are mini-tubbing the 94 we are doing....I have pics...will put them up later. But I can tell you, it is not a small task. It requires alot of tools. David |
